About two months ago I came across some information regarding Rhonda Morgan and her ties to Child Find Alberta. I learned that before Ms. Morgan created The Missing Children’s Society of Canada in Calgary she had worked as a volunteer for CFA for 2 years. I was not aware of that fact and came across it quite by accident and decided to follow up on the information I had and find out what it was exactly that made Rhonda Morgan an expert on missing children after working only two years as a volunteer at CFA. With that in mind I contacted Brian Bostock among others at CFA.

Hi, my name is Donald Culbert and I’m doing some research for a book I’m writing on the Melissa Hawach child abduction case. During my research I came across some information that pointed me in your direction, and thus this email.
It is my understanding that Rhonda Morgan was a volunteer with Child Find Alberta for two years before she created Missing Children’s Society of Canada. As you are aware the MCSC played a key role in the re-abduction of Melissa’s children in Lebanon, and that since that time Ms. Morgan has denied doing anything illegal and/or unethical, i.e. fundraising campaigns, hiring of mercenaries, bribery, etc. At this time there is no reason to believe otherwise.
That being said I just have a few of questions and it would be greatly appreciated if you wouldn’t mind responding to them for me.
1. At anytime did Rhonda Morgan approach your organisation for assistance in the handling of the Melissa Hawach case, and if so, did you offer any?
2. Given the circumstances and events surrounding the Melissa Hawach case, would your organisation have handled this matter any differently than the manner in which the MCSC handled this particular case?
3. What criteria must one meet in order to become a volunteer with Child Find Alberta?
4. How many hours of training did Ms. Morgan complete during her 2 years with your organisation?
5. How many volunteer hours did Ms. Morgan put in on a weekly basis?
6. Does anybody on your board of directors maintain a relationship with anybody at MCSC that is something other than professional? If so, please explain.
I am aware that your organisation is bound by confidentiality when it comes to your clients and I have deliberately asked questions that do not breach that confidentiality. I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you for your time and consideration. Keep up the good work.
Sincerely,
D. E. Culbert

Dear Mr. Culbert;
Thank you for your inquiry and request for information. If you could provide an address for yourself, I will be happy to send you an official response to your request.
Regards,
Brad Bostock
Executive Director –Child Find Alberta
While it is totally beyond me why Mr. Bostock needed my mailing address in order to respond to the above queries I put forth to him and his colleagues I obliged Mr. Bostock and provided him with my home address in Australia, albeit it reluctantly. That being said, the other day I received his official response, and based on his response I’m not convinced that CFA wasn’t involved in some way, shape or form in Melissa Hawach’s case. I have come to conclusion based on what I consider his evasive or round about way in which he replied to my first email and the fact that as far as I’m concerned his claim of ignorance regarding the case is unbelievable. Think about people, this was a big story in Alberta and I find it hard to believe that CFA lacks any knowledge in this case especially since I’m sure that CFA maintains a healthy professional relationship with their former volunteer. That and the fact that there is a Morgan sitting on the CFA’s board of directors, though at this time I’m not sure of his relationship with Ms. Morgan at MCSC. I mean it could be just a coincidence, but somehow I don’t think so, but then again I could be wrong.
Sometime over the next few days I will posting a copy of the letter I received from Mr. Bostock here at Crooked in Canada.
