Canadian Terrorist Facing Life In US Prison Thanks To CSIS

January 20th, 2008No Comments

Mohamed Mansour Jabarah is a Canadian who was a terrorist. He came to Canada with his family from Kuwait when he was twelve years old.

Today at age 26 he is sitting in a Manhattan, New York jail waiting to begin his life sentence after being convicted on charges that he was part of the al-Qaeda and Jemaah Islaamiyah terrorist network.

Obviously Jabarah, and apparently his brother who was killed because of his terrorist activities, weren’t grateful for the life they were given in Canada otherwise they wouldn’t have gotten involved with terrorism in the first place.

I also have serious concern that his father, who I am assuming still lives in the St. Catharines area has some terrorist connections too. You know what they say; the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, and if Jabarah has terrorist connections, believes in th jihad, then it’s almost a certainty his father does too.

I think the world owes a debt of gratitude to The Canadian Security Intelligence Service for going to Jordan where he was captured in 2002. CSISs agents flew to Jordan to bring Jabarah back to the US via Canada, and despite a Canadian security intelligence review committee had to say, there is one less terrorist walking the streets of Ontario.

Imagine what Jabarah could have done in Canada if he hadn’t been apprehended by Canadian authorities and turned over to the Americans. He could have, and most likely would have, help massacre a lot of innocent Canadians if the opportunity presented itself.

My only hope now is that CSISs has honed in on Jabarah’s father and they are building a case against him. It wouldn’t be a stretch to assume, in fact expect, that the father of Abdoul and Mohamed encouraged, and perhaps even participated, albeit covertly in his son’s terrorists activity.  Reference
