Another Severed Foot Washes Ashore in BC-I’m thinking it’s a prank

May 25th, 2008No Comments

Somebody has a morbid sense of humour I think, and the severed feet wearing shoes that have been washing up on shore are the punchline.

For the fourth time in 10 months a severed foot has been found on a small uninhabited island in the Strait of Georgia. The 3 other feet were found on different islands and like this last one, each foot had a running shoe on it. It is unknown if this fourth foot was a left or right one, but the other three feet were from somebody’s right leg.

This is somebody getting a few kicks out of a morbid prank, at least that is what I would like to think, and whoever is responsible for this prank has access to human cadavers. I really don’t think there is somebody running around the Pacific Coast deliberately going out of the way to cut the feet off of a living human being, but stranger and sicker things have happened.

Anyway, the I wish the RCMP luck in solving this riddle, and I hope they started off on the right foot and started checking university campuses, morgues, and funeral homes after the discovery of the second severed foot.
