Is It Time To Kick Nancy Pelosi To The Kerb Or What

January 20th, 2009No Comments

I have a hate on for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, (not that her politics has any affect on my life) and if I were Barack Obama, I would be finding ways to have her kicked to a kerb in Washington pretty damn quick. I don’t think it is in the Democrat Party’s best interest to keep her on as House Speaker any longer.

Surely Obama can see that the California Democrat has let the power she has as House Speaker go to her head, and that she appears to be abusing her position of power to commit acts of vindictiveness against the outgoing Bush administration. She’s obvious about it.

How could no one see that the woman has her own agenda when it comes to the Bush administration? She’s a disgrace.

God forbid she every became the commander-in-chief. God save America if that happens.

Pelosi strikes me as the type of woman who, if she doesn’t get what she wants from somebody, she will go out of her way to make life as miserable as possible for whoever her act of vindictiveness is directed towards, be it a family member, a friend, a political colleague or foe .

The fact that she is calling for a criminal investigation into whether or not the Bush administration broke the law by going to war with Saddam Hussein, a man who will be remembered in history mostly for his brutality towards his own people more than anything else, is proof of just how far she is willing to go to get payback for whatever it is she is feeling slighted for.

The worse part of her call, for what I think amounts to nothing more than a witch hunt, is that she expects American taxpayers to pay for it.

The last thing the incoming Obama administration wants or needs is to have Democrats dragged through the same mud that Pelosi is attempting to drag the outgoing administration through. He’s not stupid, and he definitely knows that when it comes to the decision to go to war in Iraq, there is a lot of blame to be spread across the senate floor.

He doesn’t want a criminal investigation into the Bush administration because if the bring some Republicans down, there will be some Democrats going down with them, and I don’t think Obama wants that black mark on his party while he is in the Oval Office. He knows better than that and I fully expect him to put a muzzle on Pelosi real soon.

I also think her days as House Speaker are numbered.

As far as I’m concerned Nancy Pelosi pretends that she is looking out for her party’s best interests, and of course those of her fellow Americans, but she isn’t.

Americans shouldn’t be fooled into believing that because she is demanding that tax cuts implemented by the Bush administration for the wealthy be repealed ASAP, that  she is working in their best interests.  She’s got her own agenda and it has nothing to do with out is in the best interest of Americans.

Repealing those tax cuts that only apply to people making more than $250,000 annually is going to cost taxpayers a lot of money. Count on it.

Bureaucracy and red tape isn’t cheap in America, and somebody is going to have to pick up the costs related to repealing the tax cuts, which would include hearing after hearing after hearing. For the amount of time and money it is going to take to repeal those cuts, the Obama administration would be better off to just let them expire, which Obama much to Pelosi’s dismay, is considering.

Pelosi is an idiot, a waste of skin and space in Washington, and I have a feeling that there are more than just a handful of Democrats who feel the same way about her, but in the name of party unity choose to keep their thoughts about Pelosi to themselves, that, and the fact they are afraid what she will do them if she ever found out they thought she was an idiot and a waste of skin and space..

I think she’s a goner, history, perhaps even before those tax cuts expire.

I expect that either within the next two years, she will be forced to resign, or she’ll leave of her own volition, claiming that she wants more family time; that the time she is spending pretending to work on behalf of the Democrats and the American people is too demanding on her.

There is no way that Nancy Pelosi can be good for the incoming Obama administration, and I bet deep down inside, the 44th President of the United States knows it. What he does about it is another question, but I think it would in the best interests of his administration to dump her as soon as possible.

She is already upsetting the apple cart and Obama hasn’t even received the keys to the White House yet.
