Who was Chris Brown before he became an overnight sensation in the hip-hop world? Seriously, what is he about, and why does nobody know much about him, i.e., the environment he was raised in, and the people who raised him. He just smacked the shit out of woman, and it is more than a little likely that the environment he was raised in, contributed to his brain snap.
His father, and stepfather must be feeling proud that a little of what they dished out to women in their life, has rubbed off on their little moneymaking machine.
Funny how Chris Brown has never gone out of his way to share a little bit of his life story with his fans. He obviously has a few skeletons in his closet. If his assault on Rihanna has anything to do with those skeletons, it won’t be long before we start hearing a little bit about those skeletons, and how they relate to the beating he laid on Rihanna.
His father and stepfather might want to consider keeping a low profile instead of speaking out on behalf of their son, whose story when it is told, could very well implicate them as the men he learned to beat up women from. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
One thing we definitely know about the 19-year-old singer now is that he isn’t that squeaky clean, good-boy-next-door, that he was marketed as being and that when it comes to women not “playing his game” or buying into his BS, he gets off on smacking them around and threatening to kill them.
I’m sure Rihanna isn’t the only woman who can tell us all about it, and it isn’t going to be long before those women crawl out from under rocks to make allegations against their former boyfriend. Wait for it.
Why anybody would rise to the defense of somebody who beats a woman is beyond me, but there are morons out there that do, and they usually have ulterior motives for rising to their defense.
They don’t do it without being offered or demanding something in return for their support, and in Chris Brown’s case you can be sure that anybody who rises to his defense is more concerned about the money that follows him around, and there is a lot of it, or should I say there was, a lot of it following him around.
The beating he laid on Rihanna is going to minimize Brown’s earning potential and anybody making money off him is going to suffer too.
Anybody who rises to Brown’s defense is more than likely doing it out of survival, because they need to protect their investment, and of course that age-old favourite, earning their “fifteen minutes of fame.”
In an effort to salvage what is left of his career, and to preserve his cash flow, the singer has come out, said he is sorry, and saddened by what has happened.
His sincerity should be questioned however given there are postings on his Facebook page and across the Internet by him that would suggest that he isn’t as remorseful as he is letting on.
Of course, Brown is denying that those postings are his, and is saying that they are fraudulent, that they are being made by somebody pretending to be him.
Hmm…Yeah-right buddy!
The only thing that Brown is “sorry and saddened” about is the fact that he was busted for beating up on a woman who called him out on his BS, that BS being messing around with other women.
Rihanna was making him accountable for his actions in regards to his messing around, and he reacted violently while likely under the influence of drugs and alcohol he would have consumed, at a pre-Grammy party.
Let’s see, the story might go something like this:
They are driving around Los Angeles after a party in a flashy rental sports car. They are both feeling a little giddy and foolish thanks to drugs and alcohol they indulged in at that pre-Grammy Awards party. Sometime during that night, he receives a text message from a woman. Rihanna, being the girlfriend, demands an explanation from him. He refuses to acknowledge her. She reaches over, grabs the keys out of the ignition, and tosses. After scurrying out of the car, Rihanna begins to wind her way back to the hotel. An infuriated Brown jumps out of the car and chases her down. When he catches up to her, he shoves her a little, grabs her by the arms, shakes her a bit, yells and screams at her, smacks her upside the head, bites her, smacks her again splitting her lip, shakes her some more and threatens her life before leaving the scene of his crime. That sounds about right.
It may not have occurred exactly like that, but I don’t think I am too far off the mark, and at the end of the day it doesn’t matter because Brown still beat the shit out of woman, and that isn’t going to go down very well when it comes to present and future record sales. His career in music is just about history now, and while he still might be able to salvage what is left of his career by attending anger-management counseling sessions, blah, blah, blah…
He is no longer the money-making machine he was prior to him using Rihanna as a punching bag. I expect his record label will be looking to find a way out of their deal with him now.
His niche market is young girls and women, and guess what; they aren’t going to be buying much of his shit anymore now that he has shown his true colours. Men who beat up on women don’t win over too many women, and now that Brown has been ‘outed’ as a guy that beats up on women, sales of his records are going to plummet.
He is now what I would consider a bad investment, and you can be certain that his label is thinking the same thing.
The most ridiculous thing I have heard so far in what is being described by a police as a domestic violence case is that Brown is claiming that most of what is being reported about the incident is untrue.
Who cares what he thinks about the reportage of this story, the fact remains he was charged with beating up his girlfriend, and the bruises, bite marks, and the story Rihanna is telling police support the charges filed against him. I really don’t care what other bloggers are saying about him, and whether or not, what they are saying about him is true. He beat up on a woman, and from what I understand, threatened her life.
Who cares what he thinks when it comes to the truth, after all it isn’t like he hasn’t been living a lie since he popped onto the music scene.
Clean-cut, boy-next-door artist my ass. I guess you could say he had everybody fooled until now.
It will be interesting to hear what the people who put Brown on a pedestal have to say about him now. I can’t wait to hear what Tyra Banks and Ellen DeGeneres have to say about him, and Oprah too. Brown sure fooled them didn’t he?
