Canada’s Official Oppostion Party Leader Doesn’t Make Friend In US President Barack Obama During 35-Minute Meet And Greet

February 22nd, 20092 Comments

There was a time when I actually thought that the leader of Canada’s official opposition party would be good for Canadians, that he would put their best interests ahead of his own personal agenda of scoring “brownie” points on the international scene, and trying to make himself look good in the eyes of US president Barack Obama, you know, like he actually knows what he is doing.

I’m saying “there was a time,” because I no longer feel that Ignatieff is the man to do the job Canadian taxpayers are paying him to do, and that he is too out of touch with Canadians when it comes to how they really feel about Omar Khadr, among other issues.

He is buying into the BS polls that have come out in the past couple of weeks claiming that the majority of Canadians want Omar Khadr repatriated and tried in Canada, and now he is passing on that BS to Americans via the US president. Why would he do that?

I am going to assume that Ignatieff does know what the population of Canada is, and that it isn’t 1000, the number of people who were surveyed for the most recent poll that ridiculously claimed that the majority of Canadians wanted Khadr back in Canada to be tried for his crimes.

Surely Ignatieff doesn’t believe that the 1000 people from Ontario to the Atlantic coast who were surveyed speak for the 30 plus million people in Canada, does he?

That would be awfully damn stupid of him, wouldn’t you agree?

When I saw the headline “Liberal leader tells Obama Canada concerned about Khadr,” I thought to myself, what the f*** man, Ignatieff doesn’t speak for me, and he definitely isn’t speaking for the majority of Canadians, Canadians he has implied in the past he knows like the back of his hand.

As far as I’m concerned and I came to this realization not too long after he took control of the Liberal Party reins, Ignatieff isn’t going to be able to  save the Liberal Party of Canada, not now, not ever,  let alone run the country as he implied during his meeting with the American president when he said, “If the Liberals form the Canadian government in the future, the Liberals would be helpful to the Americans in respect of this (the Khadr case) and other matters relating to getting beyond the Guantanamo Bay world.”  What a bonehead thing for Ignatieff to say.

I hear Obama just kind of sloughed off the statement with a wink and a nod, so to speak, that he wasn’t really interested in hearing what the Liberal leader had to say about the Khadr case any more than he was interested in what Ignatieff had to say about what his thoughts on the development of clean energy science and technology, and the tough fight Obama had trying to push through an almost 800 billion dollar stimulus package were.

Anyway, the last thing a wannabe with a pipe dream of becoming Canada’s prime minister should be telling an American leader and one of Canada’s strongest allies I might add, is that should he ever become Prime Minister (I’m rolling on the floor laughing at the prospect of that happening), he intends to meddle in US affairs.

I really doubt Ignatieff made a friend out of Obama in the 35-minute meet and greet at the airport, but hey, I’m not going to fault Ignatieff for showing how much of Khadr butt crack licking moron he truly is to those jihad loving supporters in Canada he is trying to win over for the Liberal Party.

As usual there were many comments left after the article I read on the CBC website, including one from an “MSmitty,” who as far as I am concerned, was bang on the money when it came to setting the record straight on Omar Khadr, what Canadians are truly thinking about repatriating him, and stripping the rest of his family of their Canadian citizenship and booting them out of Canada.

I would like to believe that when it comes to the Khadrs, Canadians have no use for them, that if they were given the opportunity to decide the fate of Khadr and that of family members living in Ontario, an overwhelming majority of Canadians would support stripping the Khadr’s of their Canadian citizenship, and forcibly removing them from the country.

Out of courtesy for the liberal leaning readership of Crooked in Canada, I have taken the liberty of copying MSmitty’s comment and posting it below.

Let’s see how many “Khadr butt-crack” lickers I can offend, and whether or not any of them have the “kahonas” to say anything about it in here.

MSmitty’s comment:

He is guilty of being an enemy combatant, plotting against NATO, hence Canada. Whether he killed the medic is irrelevant. He is guilty of a significant crime. This is beyond a reasonable doubt. His age and upbringing, while being worthy of consideration when it comes to sentencing, is equally irrelevant when it comes to this crime, for which the evidence is overwhelming.

Most Canadians don’t seem to want him back. I’m sure the race is close as to whether most Canadians would strip his family of citizenship and send them packing too. I know I would. The rule of law in a democracy ought to be flexible enough to account for the views and feelings of the majority. A majority of Canadians don’t want him back. Live with it.

I actually got his response from one of the leftist bloggers:there is no proof Khadr engaged in terrorist activity and there is no proof whatsoever that he is a known terrorist. When I challenged this bleeding heart with the existence of video tapes showing lil 0mar constructing bombs, swearing jihad, and boasting about how much money he would receive for each U.S.soldier killed, and eyewitness testimony, the gutless wonder shut down access to his comments section and none of my comment appeared. Some kind of blogger integrity,I tell ya.

The leftist bloggers don’t have any integrity at all. Not only that, they spend more time bashing those that oppose their views and opinions, and little time listening to what they have to say.

I really don’t have any use for the leftist blogger, not unless I can mock them in here.

Having said that, do you remember what you said in your comment, and could you provide with the link to the article you attempted to post your comment on. I can put both the post, and your comment to it here, and even sent a trackback to the left wing blogger to let him know that indeed your comment was posted on his blog post here.

I like having that kind of fun.
