Beverly Giesbrecht is yanking Canada’s chain
After publishing the story about the ransom demand being made for a “Canadian journalist” (teehee-I have to laugh because Beverly Giesbrecht aka Khadija Abdul Qahaar isn’t what one would consider a “qualified journalist”) I thought I would visit her website Jihad Unspun just to see what it is all about.
I had read an article last month about Qahaar not being able to pay her bills because she was in Pakistan (I doubt she was able to pay her bills in Canada before she left for Pakistan too), and that her website was going to go offline if she didn’t pay her hosting fee.
I’ll be damned if somebody claiming to be a friend didn’t come forward and pay her bill for her.
I guess whomever it was thought he might be able to cash in on becoming a part of Qahaar’s story himself. You know, those fifteen minutes of fame thing that everybody always seems to want a piece of ,when somebody close to them is making headlines.
I really doubt whoever it was will see a cent of what he put out to keep what many consider is nothing more than a website of hatred towards the west, especially if what she says in the latest video released to Canadian media comes to fruition. The beheading thing I mean.
Personally, I could care less if somebody chops off her head.
Anyway follow this link to her last entry on her website before she was allegedly kidnapped.
In the last item published on Jihad Unspun before she was allegedly kidnapped, Qahaar is begging her jihad brothers and sisters to contribute some funds via Pay Pal and Western Union.
While apologizing to Allah for begging, she is asking for contributions so that she, and her two companions can flee Pakistan.
I’m kind of thinking that if she needs to flee Pakistan for her own safety, the Canadian government might have been able to facilitate that, in fact I am certain they would have.
That said…I really doubt when she was begging for money on her website, she was in any more danger than when she first arrived in the tribal areas of Pakistan, where the Taliban insurgents and al-Qaeda plan and play war games with NATO forces in neighbouring Afghanistan and parts of Pakistan.
I bet she was well received upon her arrival to the tribal regions of northern Pakistan.
Maybe it is my suspicious nature, but it looks to me like Qahaar might have been setting the scene in her last website posting for what is now, an alleged kidnapping.
With her comments about her fear for her safety and all that, and the urgency in which he had to flee Pakistan, why wouldn’t I think that she was sitting the scene for the story that she seems to be the only one telling.
The only reason I think the Canadian media has picked up this story is because Qahaar, with the help of her captors and a few friends in Canada, is feeding it to them.
If her story was half as legit as she claims it to be, it would be all over the 6 o’clock news, and a constant headline in Canadian newspapers.
No way man, I think it’s a scam, and I am not the only one in Canada that feels that way about her story. I bet if I dig deep enough, I could find one, or two Canadian government officials who are thinking the same thing.
The woman is a grifter, and she is involved in a con-job where her only intention is to raise money for her jihad friends, the ones she says are holding her hostage and threatening to chop off her head if her captors’ ransom demands are not met.
Having said that, I am really looking forward to the end of this month, and if Qahaar’s “captors” do decide to chop off her head, I really hope they videotape the event and then send a copy to Canadian media.
