Montreal Mafioso Should Be Gonzo from Canada

June 24th, 20092 Comments

When it comes to the deportation of convicted murderer Moreno Gallo, there should be no doubt in anybody’s mind that this guy doesn’t deserve to live in Canada anymore, not if the story police have to tell about him is true, and apparently they have ‘good evidence’ to back up that story.

Its bad enough Gallo murdered somebody, though Gallo claims he acted in self-defense, but to be linked into the Mafia as much as he has been, is definitely reason enough to fire his criminal ass out of the country.  He effed up and now he has to face the consequences of his actions.

It really sucks to be him, but my heart doesn’t bleed for him, and if I lived my life here in Australia the way he has lived his life in Canada, I would expect to be deported to my homeland, which just happens to be Canada. I’d put up a fight of course, but at the end of the day, the law is the law and I would lose.

This is going to be a tough fight for Canadian immigration authorities, and it is going to be expensive for Canadian taxpayers too. Gallo knows it, the feds know it, and so does everybody else who is going to rise up to this guy’s defense.

Gallo isn’t without financial means to fight this out for a few years, thanks to his criminal enterprise and no doubt a few high placed connections, but in the end I think he’s going to lose his fight to stave off being deported back to Italy.

The only risk for him if he is returned to Italy is the temptation of joining the mob in Italy where Italian authorities are cracking down on crime families left, right and center.

Gallo would look pretty stupid if he mixed it up with the mob over there, and then were busted for it. If that happened, he’d be effed.

I think though, with the kind of money he and his wife have between them, they will be able to live a pretty comfortable life over there without him having to get involved in organized crime to help him make ends meet.

The Gallo family won’t be hard done by if they are forced to move out of Canada to follow the “wise guy” to Italy. You can bet they will be able to live pretty high on the hog over there.

They won’t have any trouble making a new life for themselves in Italy, and Moreno Gallo and his wife have enough money to bring over and support a few members of their family if they feel they need to have some family from Canada with them.

Gallo, who arrived in Canada when he was 9-years-old, failed to obtain his Canadian citizenship when the rest of his family did, and he currently holds a permanent residency visa.

He had ample time apply for his citizenship papers, but he chose not to, and now his criminal lifestyle has caught up with him and therefore is prevented from becoming a Canadian citizen now. Not that it matters now.

The guy is going back to Italy and there is little doubt in my mind about that.

The guy is, and should be history, no second chances. No nothing for him.
