I blogged about Nghia Trong Nguyen-Tran aka Jackie Tran and his last ditch effort to stave off deportation to his native Vietnam not more than 6 hours ago. I actually had high hopes that Justice Yves de Montigny would do right by Canadians and actually kick this sorry piece of shit’s ass out of the country in the best interests of Canadians and Canada. Boy was I wrong about that pile of judicial feces .
For those of you who aren’t familiar with this particular immigration case, he was first ordered deported in 2004 after he was convicted of cocaine trafficking.
Tran has spent the past 5-years, some of it at taxpayer’s expense, fighting that deportation order. Why after 5 years he is still in this country is totally beyond me, but he is, and the fact that he is is proof that Canada’s immigration system isn’t working in the best interests of Canada and Canadians. Something needs to be done about that, and fast. Enough of the bullshit already.
In what has to considered total disregard for Canada’s immigration laws, and a slap in the face to Canadian taxpayers who foot the bill for criminal immigrants fighting to remain in Canada after being convicted of crimes, a federal court justice has saved Vietnamese born Jackie Tran’s deportable ass in a last-minute reprieve, and he is going to spend more of Canadian taxpayer’s dollars in yet another opporuntity to avoid being deported.
I’m absolutely disgusted and shocked by Justice de Montigny’s lack of testicular fortitude.
Even Tran’s lawyer Raj Sharma was surprised at the judge’s decision. Tran, who has being fighting for five years to remain in Canada after his involvement in organized crime materialized will at taxpayer’s expense once again, have an opportunity to argue against his deportation once again.
This whole deportation thing in Canada is one big effing joke if you ask me and millions of other Canadians, and it is high time both sides of the House of Commons got their shit together and do something to prevent criminal immigrants like Tran from making a mockery out of the immigration system.
As for Justice de Montigny, I really think it is high time some put that son of a bitch out to pasture. He’s a disgrace to the justice system as far as I’m concerned, and an effing coward.
