Islamic Convert Goes On Shooting Rampage At U.S. Army Base

November 6th, 2009No Comments

If ever anybody needed a reason to keep Islam out of the U.S. Army, the army officer who went on a shooting rampage at Fort Hood in Texas, provides that reason.

I don’t know, call me a rational racist I guess, but don’t think of me as being that stupid. I would never, ever advocate for the inclusion of Islam in the Canadian army, not during the global war on terrorism anyway.

Seriously, in the global war on terrorism, how stupid is it to have followers of Allah in the U.S. Army, not to mention their allies when it comes to that war?

IT IS REALLY STUPID should be the only answer to that question, huh. Think about it.

There is little doubt in my mind that the armed gunman committed his act of terror in the name of Allah.

As far as I’m concerned, his impending deployment to Iraq while it might have pushed him over the edge, only motivated him into carrying out an attack he had already planned.

He was going to do it whether he was going to be deployed in Iraq, Afghanistan, or not. No doubt, terrorists are celebrating him today.

Having said that, let this be a wake-up for those governments who have soldiers deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Let’s be rational here, allowing Islamists to enlist in an army that is at war with Islamists, whether they are converts or not, is a really, really dumb idea. It really doesn’t get much more stupid than that, and the shooting at Fort Hood qualifies, at least for the moment anyway, my opinion.

Now having said that, it isn’t too late for NATO forces in Afghanistan and coalition troops in Iraq, to start cleaning house, purging themselves of everything Allah within their troops. Act now; avoid a repeat of this kind of rampage happening on another army base.

You know, and I direct this statement to my fellow Canadians, ask yourself this; how many Allah followers are in the Canadian military, and do you think their right to practice Islam outweighs protecting our non-Islamic soldiers from fanatics like Major Malik Nadal Hasan.

I don’t. F*** them all, kick them out and then keep them out, that’s what I say.

Common sense, not to mention the obvious (the rampaging Major was a convert to Islam), tells me that the attack on U.S. soldiers at Fort Hood during a graduation ceremony, was motivated by terrorism.

Oh, and by the way, Major Hasan was a psychiatrist, a mental health worker anyway.

This story is still developing and it is going to change a number of times before anybody gets it right.

I also have my doubts about the information the military and the FBI are going to release. The Obama administration will be all over that you know. They are going to limit what information is released to the public, and it will be cleaned up to sound good.

I really doubt anybody is going to concede that, this was an act of terrorism, because by doing so it would only embolden terrorists. That will be the spin some in the media will put on authorities denying it was an act of terrorism.
Let the cover up begin.

Like I said though, this was a terrorist attack, much like the one that wasn’t carried out on Fort Dix, and the one al-Shabaab was planning to carry out on Holsworthy Barracks in Australia.

Of course it was an enlisted officer that carried out the attack at Fort Hood.

I’ll say it again, “There is no room for practicing Islamists in armies that are fighting the war against terrorism.”

Think about it, can Islamist really be trusted that much, or should their right to religious freedom outweigh the wellbeing of the soldier fighting the war against terrorism?
