CG wants to make one thing perfectly clear before he lets lose on these particular women ski jumpers, I absolutely one-hundred per cent agree with American world champion Lindsay Van, Canadian Charlotte Mitchell, Katie Willis and company.

I too think women’s ski jumping should be an Olympic event, but not until the sport meets the required technical criteria, the IOC said it was required to meet before its inclusions.

You know what, I certainly didn’t hear about that criteria being met, not in any of the news reports, I read about the women trying to force Olympic Games organizers to include the event in the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver.

Furthermore, who in the hell do they think they are, trying to change the rules on what sport and when it qualifies as a sanctioned event in the Olympics. This is about their sense of entitlement because they are women, and in my opinion that discriminatory thing they were rambling on about has nothing to do with the cause they were fighting in the courtroom.  End of story.

It’s bullshit, and as far as I’m concerned the women who thought they could play that ‘discrimination card’ to get their way, are an embarrassment to female athletes around the world.

They acted like spoilt little girls and that worked against them if you ask me, but hey, they got their day in court with that attitude, and in the end they walked out of the courtroom in tears.

It really sucks to be them, but it is time for the whiney women to move on, and hope that come 2014, women’s ski jumping will be part of that Winter Olympic Games.

Suck it up ladies and move on with your lives. Work on developing young up and comers, instead of wasting your time and efforts on something that isn’t going to come to fruition, the inclusion of women’s ski jumping in the 2010 Winter Olympics, which is only three months away.
