When it comes to Amanda Lindhout CG wants to make it perfectly clear to those of your reading my shit that I feel for the woman, understand her pain as do many I’m sure–but why in the f*** does the media have to keep going on and on about it. WE GET IT ALREADY. WE KNOW SHE IS SUFFERING.
Having said that, maybe Ms. Lindhout, who as we all know was kidnapped in Somalia more than year ago and was just recently released thanks to a $1-million ransom that was paid to her captors, should like spend less time talking to the media and more time getting the professional help she needs to help her with the nightmares and the dark thoughts still rambling through her mind. It’s not as if she won’t be able to cash in once she has her head on straight and she has settled back into what is going to be an anything but normal life for the rest of her life.
Playing the “fame game” which her story has since turned into now that she is back in Canada, isn’t going to help Ms. Lindhout to readjust–settle into a life that is even remotely normal, if she doesn’t step back and avoid the limelight and the pressures of the media for now.
CG doesn’t know what kind of attention her story is getting from the media, but there is little doubt in his mind that her phone is ringing off the hook with cash deals for her any part of her story on offer. You know what though, those cash deals are still going to be there if she like CG said, she spends less time dealing with that shit and more time working on getting herself into a better space, unless of course she isn’t in as bad of shape emotionally and mentally as she is being portrayed in the media.
By the way, she’s a strong woman, the proof of which lies in the fact she survived at the hands of her captors for more than a year. She will survive the post trauma of her ordeal–make no mistake about that.
She’s a very beautiful woman by the way. I’m sure the picture below doesn’t do her justice. She’s hot.
