Did Sri Lanki Use Tsunami Financial Aid To Win War Against LTTE

December 28th, 20093 Comments

Four years ago that Boxing Day tsunami smashed the hell out of a number of countries including Sri Lanka, and with that tsunami more than 230-thousand people lost their lives.

The world somehow managed to pull itself together and help out where the help was needed. Hell, even terrorists organizations laid down their weapons long enough to help out where they could.

An unbelievable effort was made by all that could help out.

Food, blankets, building material, medical supplies, aid workers, you name it the affected countries got it, and then there was the financial aid–billions of dollars.

Not all of that money went to where it was supposed to go though and now one government has a lot of explaining to do.

Questions are being asked about what happened to something like a half billion dollars in financial aid Sri Lanka received to help the country to cope with the 2004 tsunami.

CG hears it might even be more than that.

CG also thinks the Sri Lanka government has an answer to the question, “So what the f*** happened to the money?”

CG has a theory and it directly relates to the surprise and sudden defeat of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam last year.

How much of that financial aid ended up being spent on the military is the question CG is asking. Could it have been a half billion dollars, and what kind of living conditions would the Tamil refugees be living today if that financial aid was spent on them instead of the military.

I’m thinking there would be fewer boat people being intercepted in Australian waters, that’s what I’m thinking.

While I have no use for the LTTE and the f***ing moronic Tamils who supported them during their 30 year war and to this day still support them despite their terrorist ways and their defeat, the Sri Lanka government took half a billion dollars in financial aid and used it for their war against the LTTE. That’s just f***ing wrong.

There is little doubt in CG’s mind, yet absolutely no proof that that is what happened to the missing and unaccounted for half a billion dollars that, the Sri Lanka government spent a good chunk of that financial aid they received on their military.

I tell you what–if CG owned a farm, he’d bet the farm that that is exactly what the Sri Lanka government did, not to mention that there are probably a few government officials who have been living a little high on the hog since the tsunami hit.

The Sri Lanka government definitely has a lot of explaining to do, though in the end, there is nothing that can be done about it when the truth finally comes out about what happened to that money.

End of that story for now, but hey my fellow Canadians, how do you feel about some of those Tamil boat people being released into your community? Do you think that they have been properly vetted to ensure that they are not a threat to you, your neighbors and fellow commuters to and from work?

Like seriously and logically thinking, how in the f*** can Canadian authorities be so sure that the Tamils they are releasing into the community-at-large, the same Tamils that arrived illegally in Canadian waters on a boat which had traces of explosives on it, aren’t F***ING TERRORISTS?

At the very least if the Tamils are going to be allowed to live amongst you, don’t you think there should very, very strict conditions that they must live under, like not being allowed to assemble in large groups, you know like the ones that rally on the downtown streets of Toronto and in Ottawa.

How about slapping ankle bracelets on them and having them report to their local police station a couple maybe three times a week. Hardly a high price for them to pay, let alone an abuse of their civil rights if they want to remain in Canada, right.

I tell you what Canada, common sense and not being so naive as to believe that Canada’s immigration and national security agencies have been able to properly vet the illegal Tamil refugees (that’s what they still are by the way) makes this particular Canadian a little nervous about what Canadian authorities are releasing into the community.

I mean think about it people, the clowns making this call are playing Russian roulette with your life, and for what, to appease a community that openly supports and condones acts of terrorism by a known terrorist organization in a foreign land. Canada being one of those foreign lands Tamils wave the terrorist organization’s flag and raises money for the LTTE.

Nothing like throwing caution to the wind to spare these Tamil refugees having to live behind a fence and in better conditions than they were living in Sri Lanka, though given the cost of their voyage from Sri Lanka to Canada, one has to wonder how bad they really had it in Sri Lanka.

I hope for the Canadian government’s sake, this act of generosity towards the Tamil community doesn’t, come back to haunt them in a violent kind of way.

CG none of the money went to the Military. There was a different Government in power and they were firmly licking the Tigers balls (hence why it was booted out a year later in elections). Same scum balls form todays “opposition” party(s) who even went around demanding sanctions on Sri Lanka so the economic would collapse, the war would stop, the people would suffer and be pissed off (since we were winning the war) thus in their perverse thinking the people would vote them back into power (as if).

The leader of the opposition was in Norway in May (days before we killed Prabakaran) working on a way to rescue the LTTE leadership. Same man sold out top Military intelligence agents and informants etc etc, in a deal he made with the LTTE (when he came to power in 2002) but does not give a shit about our boys in uniform who sacrificed so much for the nation, more concerned with his pockets, coming to power, keeping the LTTE around and using it as a threat against the people.

Basically this mofo did what the LTTE wanted (making it look like they were super strong + letting in all kinds of suicide bombers to the Capital and civilian areas –hence killing off the Military intelligence officers) and said “if I go out of power you will die. To keep the peace and stop the LTTE killing you, you need me”.

Of course loads of Tsunami money went to then Government officials pockets and free holidays for many “aid workers” and other NGO dipshits, who filled up 5 star hotels and made massive queues of SUVs outside Colombo nightclubs. They were in on it together (hence a lot of the NGOs were also opposed to the war, no war, no misery means no money no free holidays). The Tsunami was like “bonus”. These people (foreigners) live off “humanitarian aid” and have super rich lives in collusion of corrupt SoBs here. Very little aid money, Tsunami or other, trickles down to the people who need it. Sad, but true.

And only Sri Lanka does the leader of the opposition A)spend more time out of Sri Lanka than in it B)want sanctions put on his own country C) want his own Army defeated, and when defeats do happen (we lost battles in the war) smiles from ear to ear.

To sum up, definatly a lot of the money did not go to the people, but it sure as hell did not go for the war effort.

Hey there Steve. You know what, there is also another half billion in financial aid that was misappropriated, which by my interpretation means that yeah, a lot of government officials cashed in on the tsunami, but hey man there is still half-a-billion unaccounted for, and that could have very easily ended up in the military’s hands, after all they were involved in the disastrous relief effort and recovery. While nobody has suggested that that missing money ended up in the military’s coffers, I wouldn’t be surprised to hear that it did.
