Liberal MP Ruby Dhalla says that there wasn’t a discussion over drinks at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier in British Columbia last week about ousting Liberal leader;  that she, Bob Rae, Carolyn Bennet and Glen Pearson were only tossing around ideas and talking about ways to renew and rebuild the Liberal Party of Canada.

Aah yea Ruby, and during that discussion, do you happen to mention anything about entitlements, or maybe what you wanted in return for helping to knock Michael Ignatieff of his perch so that Bob Rae could take over?

Hmm, Ruby, me thinks that you might be overestimating your worth to the Liberal Party, especially after only a couple of years as an elected MP, you think you know how the Liberal show rolls, or should roll.

Ruby Dhalla, you are so full of shit your eyes are brown, and while you might think you know what is best for your party during its “renewing and rebuilding process”–naah ah, I don’t think there are too many Liberal voters in Canada who think you do.

CG thinks she should just f*** off really, that she might want to spend less time scheming of ways for her take over the Liberals. Yeah I know what you’re thinking, that Ruby isn’t doing that, that she doesn’t have the support from within the Liberal ranks.

You know what, you might be right about that, but it doesn’t take more than a couple of well respected Liberals in the rank and file, and we all know how good Ruby is at manipulating and sweet talking herself into and out of things, that abusing of her housekeeping staff thing a perfect example of the latter.

So anyway, according to Ruby, Ms. Bennet, Mr. Rae and Mr. Pearson, the story that columnist Angelo Persichilli wrote about a group of Liberal MPs plotting to overthrow the Liberal leader is, nonsense, bullshit–that while they were sucking back on a few wobbly pops, there wasn’t ever any mention of knocking Michael Ignatieff off that pedestal that morons in the LPC put him on in the first place.

I don’t believe them by the way. There is no doubt in my mind that they did talk about removing the captain of their sinking ship, and that that discussion was heated and probably overheard by a few people who may or may not of shared what they heard in gossip circles that a columnist would travel in from time to time.

You know how people get when they get a few into them; their lips loosen up, and they get a little loud and boisterous, especially when they are blowing off steam, which these days you can find a lot of Liberals doing, what with them constantly embarrassing themselves with that “do little do nothing sink the Conservative government attitude” they have marched around Parliament Hill with for the past couple of years.

No, I think there are some Liberals plotting to overthrow the leadership, much like they have been trying to do with the minority government since they were booted from office for cheating Canadians out of, how many taxpayers dollars were lost in Adscam again?

CG believes the Toronto Star columnist about a discussion taking place over cocktails to overthrow the Liberal leader, and CG also believes that Ruby Dhalla is a disruptive force in the Liberal Party of Canada, perhaps even a weakening one, and that she spends a lot of her time on the taxpayer dime plotting and scheming her way into a better portfolio than the one she currently has.  I think it is high time there was a campaign launched by Liberal supporters and senior Liberal Party officials to take the Brampton, Ontario MP down a peg, put her back in her place, you know, where the back benchers sit in the House of Commons. It’s the right thing for the party to do in the renewing and rebuilding of the Liberal Party. No two ways about it.
