Crooked in Canada

I think it is high time that people, especially those in positions of authority, realized that when it comes to Sea Shepherd  Society, despite the good work the activists do, Paul Watson is a danger to those he leads into the battles they fight to save animals. There is something not right in this guy’s head, and while people might think he’s all there, he’s not.

Case in point, the anti-whaling protests in the waters of Antarctica, where the Japanese claim they are killing whales for scientific research.

WTF is he thinking, sailing his ship into the path of a harpoon boat, and taunting the crew aboard that ship. Were not talking about just playing chicken here, because in the game of chicken somebody gets out of the way at the last minute, but this past Saturday (yesterday here in Oz) the self-proclaimed skipper of the Bob Barker didn’t do that.

At the very least, somebody (like the skipper for example) should have told the helmsman to steer the Bob Barker out of the path of the Yushin Maru 3, but that person didn’t and now the shit has hit the fan again with the activists claiming that it was a deliberate act on the part of the skipper of the Yushin Maru, to ram the Bob Barker. That’s just f***ing bullshit.

Ah, here’s what people should think about before jumping to any conclusions and blaming the Japanese for this high seas incident, it was the skipper of the Bob Barker that steered his ship into the path of the Japanese vessel, and do you have any f***ing idea how difficult it is for a ship to change course at the last minute?

Paul Watson is a menace, a high-risk menace at sea; to those he has command over and to others at sea on other ships. He needs to be shut down before somebody is killed. I’m telling to, he isn’t all there.

Granted he has a cause, a good one, but at the end of the day, it is becoming quite obvious that he is more than willing to put the lives of others on the line to fight for that cause. A skipper of a ship just doesn’t do that. A skipper’s first responsibility is to his crew. Paul Watson needs to be stopped.

This the second time that Sea Shepherd has deliberately sailed into the path of an oncoming Japanese ship, the first time ending with $1-million Ady Gil sinking. That boat sailed deliberately into the path of the Shonan Maru.

This time around, the damage to the Sea Shepherd vessel was above the waterline.

The other thing that is going on, and it shows just how f***ed in the head people are in this high seas battle, the activists trying to block the whalers from firing their harpoons–and how are they doing that, by putting themselves in the line of fire.

Of course the argument, “It’s their life, they can end it any way the want,” can be made, but just as soon as one of the activists loses his or her life, the blame for that death is going to be immediately cast upon the Japanese.

I’m telling you, Paul Watson has to be stopped, not from fighting for his cause, but for constantly jeopardizing the lives of not only his foes (the Japanese this time around), but that of the crew of the Steve Irwin and the Bob Barker.
